7 Optimization Methods for Product Styling Design

JRPanel  has sorted out a series of styling design optimization strategies, hoping to help everyone think strategically in the innovative design stage. Product styling design optimization strateg ies: segmentation, cutting and stacking, bending and twisting, concave and convex treatment, spliting and connecting, folding, surface texture.  1. Segmentation A series of means to segment the form purposefully to achieve a certain functional effect. Segmentation includes the following three forms: functional segmentation, form segmentation, and compound segmentation. Function segmentation -the segmentation method to meet product production and practical functions; Formal segmentation -a segmentation method to satisfy the aesthetic system thinking of product modeling and color; Compound segmentation -a segmentation method that covers the above two effects. 2. Cutting and Stacking Cutting and stacking the shape to achieve a certain functional effect. 3. Bending and Twisting Bending and twistin

3 Special Crafts in Membrane Switch Manufacturing -- Light Color Background

In last week, we have explained you the second special crafts in Membrane Switch Manufacturing --   Glossy Window with Matte Surface . The special process we are going to introduce today is probably the most special one, which you may never have heard of. JRPanel named it Light Color Background.   DEFNITION OF LIGHT COLOR BACKGROUND   As the name implies, the background here refers to the background of the  graphic layer  of the membrane switch product. So what kind of color is considered  as  light  color ? Let's take a look at this color comparison  image .   Four colors are shown in this image: 20% Gray, 10% Gray, 5% Gray and White. In JRPanel, if the background color is lighter than 20% Gray, then it meets the definition of a light background.   LIGHT COLOR BACKGROUND PROCESS   For the light backgrounds mentioned above, JRPanel will always take a second printing. At the JRPanel factory,  screen printing  is done in layers, and the background color is usually printed first. Du

The Necessity and Importance of Membrane Switches Prototype

Today JRPanel would like to discuss with you about the necessity and importance of membrane switches  prototype .   Prototypes are an important basis for the quality control of JRPanel membrane switches and a tool for  communication  with customers. Its functions are mainly reflected in the following two aspects.   First , the prototype can help customers check the various information contained in the document so that they can be modified in time, such as fonts, patterns, colors, etc. Color is the most difficult to control in prototype, because different panel  materials  and ink thinness will cause the color of the prototype to change.   Second , the prototype can be used as a contract between the customer and the membrane switch factory. The contract prototypes should accurately provide the same color as the final membrane switch, and the contract prototypes should be printed out shortly before mass production to avoid fading and distortion of the prototypes due to long storage tim

3 Special Crafts in Membrane Switch Manufacturing -- Glossy Window with Matte Surface

In our last blog, JRPanel introduces one special craft in membrane switch manufacturing --  ESD Layer Installation , which can prevent ESD from damaging your membrane switches. In this blog, JRPanel brings you another special craft -- Glossy Window with Matte Surface.   WHAT IS  “ GLOSSY WINDOW WITH MATTE SURFACE ”   ?   Generally speaking, there are 2 kinds of the surface finish of membrane switch for people to choose: glossy finish and matte finish. Those who choose a glossy finish are usually looking for its soft surface feel and uniform color; while those who choose matte surface value the anti-scratch and wear-resistant characteristics of the product. JRPanel procures the following four types of genuine substrates on a long-term basis to meet the surface finish needs of membrane switch products: PET Matte / PET Glossy / PC Matte / PC Glossy.   But for some membrane switch products designed with  display windows , the choice of surface effect may not be so simple. The membrane swit

The Relationship Between Plastic Nameplates and Membrane Switches

Before the 1970s, most nameplates   were made of metal materials. Today, plastic  nameplates   have been widely used in household appliances, instruments, meters, office equipment and other fields, and have become an indispensable part of electromechanical products. It not only plays the role of trademark identification, specification model, function indication, etc., but also becomes an element that reflects the appearance of the product.   With the continuous use of new materials and new processes, the surface of plastic  nameplates   is constantly improving, and it has become the crystallization of three major technologies: comprehensive surface treatment, processing and molding, and screen printing.   Plastic  nameplates   can be divided into 2 types according to their material processing methods and objects of use:   1. The injection-type plastic  nameplate   is made of ABS, PC and other engineering injection molding, and then undergoes secondary surface decoration processing such
