The Necessity and Importance of Membrane Switches Prototype

Today JRPanel would like to discuss with you about the necessity and importance of membrane switches prototype.

Prototypes are an important basis for the quality control of JRPanel membrane switches and a tool for communication with customers. Its functions are mainly reflected in the following two aspects.

First, the prototype can help customers check the various information contained in the document so that they can be modified in time, such as fonts, patterns, colors, etc. Color is the most difficult to control in prototype, because different panel materials and ink thinness will cause the color of the prototype to change.

Second, the prototype can be used as a contract between the customer and the membrane switch factory. The contract prototypes should accurately provide the same color as the final membrane switch, and the contract prototypes should be printed out shortly before mass production to avoid fading and distortion of the prototypes due to long storage time.

Prototype is a process connecting pre-press production and printing, allowing users to foresee the effect of the final membrane switch before mass production. It can provide standards for the entire membrane switch production process and provide a strong guarantee for the improvement of the quality of membrane switches.

Two ways of prototype for membrane switches:

1. Soft Prototype:

Soft prototype is realized on a color display, and it is undoubtedly the most convenient, fastest, and cheapest prototype method. The color display requires high accuracy and must be correctly calibrated. The obvious shortcomings of the soft prototype method are: the resolution is low, only 72dpi; the accuracy of the color depends on the performance and calibration of the display, and the metallic color cannot be accurately reflected.

2. Traditional Prototype:

It needs to output the film and make the silk print screen, and then complete the prototype on the screen printing machine.

The production process of traditional prototype prototype plate and mass production plate is the same. prototype and mass production use the same file data, and potential problems such as moiré, color, and font patterns can be found through prototype.

What Exactly Is the Difference Between IP66 and IP67?

What is IP67 and what is the difference between it and IP66?   This is probably the question that JRPanel engineers have been asked most often recently.   On the  online pricing page  of JRPanel's website, a new option appears in the Rear Adhesive section: 3M300LSE & Waterproof ( IP67 ).   In fact, this is a waterproof process recently upgraded by the JRPanel factory. This process can bring more possibilities to your products, and it also marks that JRPanel's products have reached a new level.   So what is the difference between IP67 and the previous  IP66 process ? In this article, we will explain in detail.   In the previous article  Criteria for the Classification Ratings of Ingress Protection , we introduced that the ingress protection rating is composed of two digits. The first  digit  represents the level of the electrical appliance's ability to prevent intrusion of foreign objects, and the second  digit ...

Brief Introduction to Flat Spiral Coil Inductors

Hi guys! Today JRPanel would like to share a few points about Flat Spiral Coil  Inductors  with you. Basically, a flat coil inductor is an inductor wound with flat copper wire.  The picture below is the side view, we can see that each circle of copper wire is arranged very compact. Here are some of the application characteristics of flat coils : 1.  High current inductance 2.  Lowest DC resistance           3.  Can ensure smooth drop of current-resistant inductance 4.  Suitable for reflow SMT process 5.  Lead-free, RoHS compliant This pciture shows a flat coil product.  It is generally used in power supplies, personal computers and other handheld  electronic devices . Advantages of  F lat  C oil  I nductors are : 1.  Scientific and reasonable space design. 2.  Tight and flat between turns ensures the effective cross-sectional area of the wire, which greatly reduces the copper loss ...

Identify Different Types of Transformer Cores, Based on Materials

Hi guys, this is JRPanel ! In previous  blog s, we have introduced several points about High Frequency Transformer, like  bobbins  and  Flat Spiral Coil . In this blog, JRPanel would like to introduce the commonly used magnetic cores in transformers ,  based on materials.   Generally speaking, the material of the core determines the environment in which the transformer is used. A transformer that uses a core of a different material will have its performance affected, may even be non-functional.   By material, magnetic cores are generally divided into the  several  categories . JRPanel will introduce them one by one to help you understand more fully.   1. Manganese Zinc Ferrite Core Mn-Zn core is a soft magnetic core with high initial permeability (2000~15000). The higher the initial permeability, the lower the surface resistance, so it is generally used in circuits below 1 MHz. Mn-Zn core has a high saturation ...
